About the Artist

Cara is a Colorado born queer artist and the soul proprietor of Straylight Studio. They love any and everything to do with costume building and have 15+ years of sewing and crafting experience. Cara is passionate about puppetry, pop culture, cosplay, and all things nerdom! Also an avid animal lover, specifically birds, they are always looking to bring to life fun, unique, nerdy projects.

Founded in 2012, Straylight Studio has always prided itself in fun, durable wares largely inspired by pop culture and started as a very small cosplay company. As the studio grew kigurumis became a hot button item and is now the top item Straylight Studio creates!
